Air Drying Natural HairPosted on 6:31pm Sunday 7th Aug 2011 The ultimate Naturalista will go to every extent to help protect their hair and keep it healthy. If you aim to eliminate the use of heat on your hair to limit damage and breakage air drying is an option. All this entails is to allow your hair to dry naturally after washing it. Just remember to give yourself a little more time to do so. Furthermore if you happen to be in a rush you can use a good hair dryer with a cooling feature or the cold air function, which uses very low heat to dry the hair. Hair Dryers with the cooling function are easily accessible from beauty retail outlets. Of course you can always use heat appliances but in moderation. Continuous use of heat could lead to the hair becoming dry losing its natural oils. This can cause the hair to become weak and thin then resulting to hair being damaged. Air Drying Instructions: - Wash hair - Towel dry - Add leave in conditioner - Leave hair as it is to dry naturally

CeeBass Posted on 4:25pm Monday 8th Aug 2011 My hair tends to shrivel up a bit when it dries, which can make it tangle so I usually plait the hair whilst wet and let it dry in plaits before undoing it. This allows it to dry naturally but without tangling. |
